- 250 feet clear Left - - Lower Nose to Clear Straight Ahead - - Lift Nose to 65 Knots - - clear Right
- 350 feet clear Left - - Lower Nose to Clear Straight Ahead - - Lift Nose to 65 Knots - - clear Right
- 400 feet TURN CROSSWIND
- 500 feet Lower Nose to 75 Knots
- 600 feet clear Left - - Lower Nose to Clear Straight Ahead - - Lift Nose to 65 Knots - - clear Right
- 900 feet TURN DOWNWIND
- GUMP CHECK - - GAS UNDERCARRIAGE MIXTURE AND PROPELLER
- 950 feet POWER TO 2300 RPM's - - Hold Nose up
- 1000 feet LEVEL OFF - - Check RPM's for 2300
- LANDING LIGHT OFF
- CHECK DIRECTION GYRO - - CHECK HEADING
- MID FIELD LISTEN FOR CLEARANCE - - DETERMINE IF YOU HAVE TO EXTEND DOWNWIND
- LANDING LIGHT ON
- ABEAM THE END OF THE RUNWAY - - POWER to 2000 RPM's
LIFT NOSE
Carburetor HEAT
SLOW TO 85 KNOTS
FIRST NOTCH OF FLAPS
POWER TO 1700 RPM's
Maintain 70 Knots
- 45 degrees from runway turn BASE LEG (800 feet)
2nd NOTCH OF FLAPS
Maintain 65 Knots
- 400 feet turn final Maintain 60 Knots
- 200 feet FULL FLAPS Maintain 60 Knots
- 20 feet above runway Level OFF
Bring Nose Up slightly (2 - 3 degrees)
- Hold Nose OFF runway as mains touch down
- Let Speed Bleed off to Below 40 Knots
- As Nose touches down
- Carburetor Heat IN
- FLAPS UP
- APPLY BRAKES
- CLEAR RUNWAY
- LANDING LIGHT OFF
