Private Pilot Course

Ground School: 20 hours of Ground School  
Materials: Workbook, syllabus, plotter, aircraft manual, logbook, etc.  
Flight Instruction: Minimum 30 hours dual in a Cessna 152  
Solo Flight: Minimum 10 hours solo in a Cessna 152  
Medical Exam: By Doctor designated by the FAA  
FAA Written Exam: By computer with immediate results  
Private Pilot Flight Test: By examiner designated by the FAA
Total for minimum course under Part 61

(Minimum: Training required per FAA regulations. Some individuals may require more training than the minimum FAA regulations. National average is 55 - 60 hours.) 
FAA Written Exam must be passed prior to Solo with 85% or better.
